Good afternoon Londoners and all other cool people!
The first post on my blog just has to be this! You all have to know where to go to sort out your wardrobe and please your visual shopping experience. Trust me, Tokyo is not going to let you down.
- BAPE
(Image: Bape Shibuya BAPE STORE® SHIBUYA, 13-17 Udagawacho, Shibuya City, Tokyo 150-0042, Japan)
Yes, A Bathing Ape. This is one of the best stores in Tokyo. They have multiple stores around the prefecture, but the Shibuya store and the Aoyama store definitely rank in the top 2. To be honest, I am not massive on their clothing because I would rather not have apes hanging around my clothes, but the shoes!! Bape stas are just adorable. Especially the white ones… and in the Shibuya store you walk onto a river of trainers… surrounded by cute colourful lights. It is just the best.

2. KITH and KITH treats
(Image: KITH Tokyo 6 Chome-20-10 Jingumae, Shibuya City, Tokyo 150-0001, Japan)
I would say KITH is the classiest street brand that I know. You will get what I mean once you have visited this shop in Miyashita Park. Walking through an arch of shoes into this futuristic space feels like heaven.

They actually have a cute ice cream shop upstairs called KITH TREATS. It won’t disappoint you.
Look at those gorgeous things…
You can choose the “Omakase” option which is the menu of the day decided by the staff. I like asking for this as I cannot make up my mind! Picking out only one from the whole menu is too hard.
3. WACKO MARIA
(Image: PARADISE TOKYO/WACKO MARIA Japan, 〒153-0043 Tokyo, Meguro City, Higashiyama, 2 Chome−3−2 1F)
Now if you are in Tokyo, you do not want to miss a bit of quirkiness in Nakameguro. You should definitely pay a visit to the Wacko Maria store there. It has a lovely bar at the entrance and usually really cool-looking staff chilling around/doing meetings around there. I do need to admit that it isn’t the most affordable brand, but it is worth a visit even if going home empty-handed. The DJ decks behind the counter is a cool addition to the space and you can admire their record collection!

4. have a good time
(Image: Have a good time 1-4-18 Nakameguro, Meguroku, Tokyo)
15-minute walk from the Wacko Maria store, you can find yourself a good time. Have a good time is simplistic, but a brand with so much cultural appreciation. You can tell how they love what they do. They have a semi-separate room in the store that’s full of random things (I’d call them Cool Garakuta) which is absolutely stunning!

5. PRADA
(Image: PRADA Aoyama 5 Chome-2-6 Minamiaoyama, Tokyo 107-0062, Japan)
PRADA Aoyama is literally a whole building full of the triangle logo. Nothing can be more fun than working your way downward of this building. I mean, just look at this thing. The slight wonkiness is so unique.
6. nepenthes
This is probably one of the hardest shops to just come across without trying to look for it. It is in the heart of Tokyo, but hidden away in a residant area looking like a little apartment itself. You really easily miss it if you aren’t paying attention, and that’s the fun part. It’s a shame that this store isn’t as famous in Europe because the items they have are incredible. You can’t say no to thier unique silhouette in clothes.

7. HARE
(Image: HARE.jp Shibuya store 〒150-0041 Tokyo, Shibuya City, Jinnan, 1 Chome−17−3 )
HARE is one of my favorite brands to shop in. They have a range of clothes from very unique looking pieces to some classy simple items. The price is within budget for a little treat for yourself, and the quality does not disappoint! If you have a soft point for a bit of mode fashion, why not go check HARE out?

8. sacai Aoyama
sacai recently renovated their store in Aoyama which turns out to be such a unique shop that still holds the brand image very well, but adds a bit of a wabi-sabi feel in the use of space with a hint of old-fashioned rugs.

9. TOGA HARAJUKU
If you are someone who likes to look a bit different from those who simply chase the trend, toga is where you want to shop. From artsy vintage-looking clothes to those with some futuristic elements can all be found in this store. The industrial decor simply compliments the clothes and I love that. My favorite items are usually female shoes by TOGA Pulla. They certainly spice up your daily fits.

P.S. Here are some malls and shopping centres that you should add to your list ⇩
- Laforet HARAJUKU
- GINZA SIX
- Dover Street Market
- Roppongi Hills
Hope you have a better wardrobe after your visit to Tokyo.
